If you are attempting or trying to get pregnant and have not succeeded, then chances are that you maybe having menopause. This is due to the body’s inability to produce ovaries and changes to the hormones.

Mood changes

When people start having menopause, people hormones change. When there is hormonal changes in the body, it can cause a shock to the system. This shock to the system can cause significant mood changes. For instance, you can be happy in one minute, but be sad and upset in another minute. This is quite common to have, and sometimes this can lead to short or long term depression.

Hot flushes

Hot flushes occur during menopause because of the lack of estrogen in the body. This lack of estrogen results increased shock to the system, similar to mood changes.

Altered Sleep patterns or Insomnia

In menopause, significant hormonal changes occur. This happens throughout the day and even during night. It is quite common to have difficulty sleeping or getting insomnia as the early signs of menopause. This is because when we are sleeping, we release certain hormones. Menopause is when the reproductive cycle stops in women. This logical result is a decrease in sexual drive. Hence, lack of sexual intimacy and drive is common with the early signs of menopause.
